Huw Stephens became the youngest ever Radio 1 DJ when he was 17, and remained at Radio 1 for over 20 years. A TV presenter from Glastonbury on BBC2, Sky Arts and Channel 4, he has DJ’d around the world from Barcelona to Venezuela.
Huw plays the best emerging talent on 6 Music and was the first presenter to support Haim, Bastille, Disclosure, Jake Bugg, Lorde, Rudimental, Wolf Alice and the 1975 amongst many more. Huw hosts sessions with new bands, and plays new music of all genres. He’s presented his show from South by SouthWest for the BBC, and hosts the UK Music showcase.
Huw runs a live music night in London, curates the Lake Stage at Latitude and hosts the main stage at Reading Festival, DJ’ing between some of the biggest bands in the world.
